Medical Services Management System
State of Maryland`s Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) in the USA oversees and coordinates all components of the emergency and crisis management system, techniques and management processes. This includes planning, operations, evaluation, and research. In addition, MIEMSS provides leadership and medical direction, conducts and supports educational programs, operates and maintains a statewide communications system for trauma and specialty centers, and interconnects all vehicles, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft with all the area hospitals.
 
Fraud in International Soybean Production and Delivery
On behalf of a European insurer, our consultants conducted an investigation of the possible fraudulent diversion of US$35 million of soybeans allegedly grown in Brazil.  This investigation supported the insurer`s claim that the claimant had never grown nor owned the soybeans.  Both traditional investigative techniques and statistical analysis were utilized to support the insurer`s position saving millions of dollars of fraud.
 
Corporate Security Plan for Brazil Division of a Major Multinational
Our consultants prepared a detailed security plan for the Brazilian operations of a multinational oil company.  The plan covered both security in and around the office and residences, including security arrangements for both national and international employees.  Also provided were our training seminars, in-town family travel reviews, and audits to support the administration of, and adherence to the security program.
 
Factory Review for Multinational Plastics Company in Brazil, Belgium and Finland
Our consultants reviewed the security arrangements and potential risks related to plastics resin production plants in Brazil, Belgium and Finland. Based on the results of the review of the security relating to its Brazilian operations, this European client asked for reviews on its operations in Belgium and Finland to deal with potential threats.  Also prepared was a framework document that all plant managers in the company use as the basis for their annual security reviews.
 

Security Plans and Reviews
 
Ship Security Plan for Shell Brazil Exploration and Production
Prepared the Ship Security Plan for the FPSO Fluminense, the first such platform to receive certification under the ISPS Code in Brazilian waters.  Our consultants also conducted all the pre-certification reviews and audits that facilitated the plan´s approval.  In support of the SSP for the FPSO, our consultants also conducted surveys of all the ports used in the supply and fitting out of the platform.
 
Major Media Events and High Net Worth Individuals 
The planning, coordinating, and the implementation of the security needs for high net worth  (HNW) individuals, including the 2009 Elton John music tour of Brazil. The project required detailed security planning, and the coordinating of extensive support entities that included police, airport, and federal authorities. Entertainment & management teams, event coordinators, and media coverage are a specialty. 
 
Review of Helicopter Operations and Heliports Serving Offshore Oil Operations
At the request of a major petrochemical client with offshore operations in Brazil, Our consultants have conducted a series of reviews of the operations of their helicopter operator and the heliports it uses to determine if they conform to the company´s standards for helicopter operations and if they expose the company, the platforms they serve and the workers who fly the helicopters to security risks.
 
Emergency Resource Center/911
The advanced, all-digital Emergency Medical Resource Center (EMRC)/System Communications Center (SYSCOM) interactive systems, physical layout, data & telecommunications components, and interfaces were procured and integrated through our experts planning and design mythologies, process and documentation.  This team started with a detailed requirements analysis and documentation of the original systems and interconnections.  This was translated into a highly detailed technical document to clearly define the requirements and the installation and particulars required for a complete and fully operational system in their command and control center.  This ground-breaking project lead the way for an integrated 911 emergency response backbone throughout the state to save lives and reduce costs.
 
Security Review of Office and House of Brazilian Executive
Our consultants has conducted surveys of the office and residence of a high net worth Brazilian executive to determine if the security measures in place to protect him and his business are appropriate.  Our consultants have provided continual updates of these reviews and worked with electronic security contractors to design the electronic security components of his security systems as well as regularly training the household staff and office security personnel in protection of the client.  Our consultants have conducted similar reviews for two other multinationals on a continuing basis.
 
Cyber Security University
Our experts planned, designed and managed the project for the Information and Security Technology infrastructure and systems at the National Defense University´s entire campus including the 21000 square meter Academic Operations Center and the most advanced cyber-security education facility in the world at Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, DC.  This high-technology teaching institution provides an optical fiber high-speed data transport system, sophisticated audiovisual systems, and intrusion detection and access control, production studio, CCTV, CATV, and a sophisticated multistory Library data system.  The systems our were certified as SCIP (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities) through our design process of physical construction, access control, and alarming as defined under U.S. Director of Central Intelligence Directive, TEMPEST (NSA secured) communications systems, and M50-3 high security facilities located in the Federal Historical District.
 
Athletic Products Company Warehouse Review
Our consultants has conducted a complete review of the security of the warehouse that a major international producer of athletic equipment and clothing after a robbery at the warehouse.  Our consultants made a number of recommendations on how to improve security at the facility and what types of security measures would be appropriate for a planned new warehouse in the Sao Paulo, Brazil area.  Our consultants also advised the senior management of the company on the theft risks in Brazil.
 
Review of Security at Major Pharmaceutical Logistics Center
At the request of a major American pharmaceutical manufacturer, our consultants conducted two surveys of security at a logistics center in the Sao Paulo area that serves as a central distribution point for a variety of multinational pharmaceutical laboratories.
 
State of the Art Data Center
Our team members analyzed the existing conditions and the future requirements to develop a comprehensive security, voice, data, and video network strategy for a major medical center, rated as the fourth largest in the United States.  This plan addressed local and wide area network services to ensure the provisioning of secure, integrated information technology and risk-reduction services to 20,000 users located in four medical campuses and over 100 buildings.  Worked with the client, and their architects and engineers to design the systems and layout for new data center in Yonkers, New York. The key components of this design was disaster recover, information security, physical security, threat analyses, and the integration of cyber/physical/electronic attack prevention, detection, and response through a variety of tested design techniques.
 
Executive Awareness Training for German Chemical Company
Our consultants conducted a two-day training seminar for the executives of a German chemical company and their spouses focused on how to avoid kidnapping and assault.  The course included both classroom work and demonstrations of the types of attacks likely to occur in Brazil with indications about how to manage these risks without losing quality of life.
 
Security Review for Insured High Net worth Family
At the request of a London special risks insurer, our consultants conducted a survey of the residence and the lifestyle of a high net worth family and provided executive awareness training to assist the family control the security risks they confronted.  Our consultants also provided a report to the insurer of the review.
 
Investigations
Fraud and Waste Reduction in Telecommunications
Our experts conducted an analysis to identify more than US$3.75 million in telecommunications fraud that could be recaptured for this major healthcare corporation.  The actual savings projection exceeded US$5 million of savings.
 
Director Misconduct at Multinational Petrochemical Company
At the request of European management of the parent company, our consultants investigated the behavior of two executives of the Brazilian branch.  Our investigation found a pattern of transferring the company´s intellectual assets to competitors and of arranging for the sale of normal product to confederates at distressed prices.  As a result, the employees were terminated without compensation and our consultants continued to support the company in the ensuing litigation.
 
Investigation of Counterfeiting of Pharmaceuticals
On behalf of a major American pharmaceutical laboratory, our consultants conduct investigations into the appearance in the Brazilian market of falsified and adulterated pharmaceuticals appearing to come from this laboratory.  Our consultants have conducted these investigations for more than one year with considerable success in identifying the perpetrators so the company´s attorneys and public authorities can take appropriate action.
 
Investigation of Cargo Theft
Our consultants have represented an international insurer in the investigation of the theft of pharmaceutical raw material being moved by truck between two airports in the São Paulo region.  Our consultants provided the information that the insurer and in response the claimant needed to settle the claim saving time and money.
 
Investigation of Threats against Insured Family
Our consultants investigated extortion threats made against a family in Sao Paulo at the request of the family´s special risks insurer.  Our consultants determined the source of the threats and arranged for appropriate measures to be put in place to protect the family from harm or attack.
 
Formal Advanced Government Training for Anti-Crime and Anti-Terror Driving
Our consultants have been direct trainers for the United States Special Forces operatives in advanced driving techniques.  Provided to the US Army Delta Force, the US Diplomatic Security Service, and the US Navy SEALS, this training has lead to a measurable reduction in road-side attacks and kidnapping.  The training has included special techniques and counter-surveillance.
